Day 15 - Vienna, Austria:
Today I walked around central Vienna and explored for about 6 hours. I saw the lovely Hofburg palace and grounds, as well as the Stephansplatz church. I saw tons of museums and the University. I saw the Danube river and hung out in some of the many green parks found all around. And I sat and had a cappuccino and tart while writing postcards when I needed a break. I also went shopping for a new bathing suit after leaving both of mine hanging to dry in the hotel in Greece. So sad. Oh! And I had a tasty Bratwurst from a stand for lunch. Delish.
The coffee house culture is a huge thing here, and I'm into it. Everyone here is so stylin'. They either look so hip and trendy, or right out of a James Bond film. Everyone rides bikes too, since they have such an amazing network of bike lanes.
Unfortunately, it was a very overcast and not very warm day. Greece spoiled me with such great weather. Hopefully my tan sticks around!
